Mediation is a flexible process conducted confidentially in which a trained neutral mediator actively assists people and/or organisations to work towards a negotiated agreement of a dispute. Both parties are in an ultimate control of the decision to settle and the terms of resolution.

Mediation can be a far more effective and much cheaper way of resolving issues than going through the courts.

When you apply for mediation or ADR services, I need to know your name, address, e-mail address and details of the matters in dispute. I also ask for your telephone number to enable me to contact you if there are any problems.

He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator & Master Trainer and has conducted a number of Mediation, Training & Accreditation Courses. Mr. Anwar Kashif is also a founding Member of Pakistan Mediators Association (PMA) and has also worked with Legal Aid Society to train Salis on Mediation nominated by Sindh High Court in the province of Sindh and worked with Lahore High Court to train Civil Judges of Punjab on Mediation.

Public Interest Law Association of Pakistan
The Public Interest Law Association of Pakistan was founded in 2011 by a group of concerned citizens with the primary objective of enabling Pakistanis to attain the realisation of their civil, human, economic, social and political rights. It is an independent, non-political and not-for-profit legal organisation that is dedicated to protecting and defending human rights through judicial means, across Pakistan. It is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
PILAP conducts its public interest work through means of research, advocacy, and litigation.
Research: Once a matter of public interest is selected the organisation conducts thorough research into the issue by looking into factual and background information and conduct legal research to assess how fundamental rights are being affected and which government authority can be approached for redress.
Advocacy: Armed with this information, we then approach the concerned public authority by advocating for the grant of fundamental rights owed to the people. Advocacy is undertaken through applications submitted under the Right to Information laws and, if need be, appealing to the Pakistan Information Commission. We also submit letters to Federal Ministries advocating for the passage of bills that are crucial to the fulfillment of fundamental rights. On occasion we issue public statements on important matters of public interest.
Litigation: The third stage in our public interest work is seeking redress through the courts of law by filing writ petitions for the enforcement of fundamental rights.

Anwar Kashif Mumtaz hosted TV show on Aaj News. He conceived the idea of the show. For seven years; his popular show regularly introduced new content and new guests to aware the masses about taxes. He conducted several Q&A session on his program.

I covered corporate businesses and individual startups and entrepreneurs on live show in Q&A segment. I also covered taxes and government policies by inviting subject matter experts from several industries vertically.

Today, it is with tremendous humility with which, I bow before the Almighty, who has bestowed upon me this distinctive opportunity; to serve our esteemed organization, which hosts a body of professionals with diversified backgrounds and practice.

It is with great delight and honor that I shall lead The Pakistan Tax Bar Association for the term 2023-25. This is a huge privilege, but also a very big responsibility, which I can only hope to fulfill.

Insha’Allah with your unwavering support and camaraderie, we will make this term a memorable one; by not leaving any stone unturned in order to push forward our agenda of ‘Digitalization, Documentation and right Declaration’.

I would be elated if we could aim to realize and highlight the core problems of Pakistan’s economy; and try to find constructive solutions to make Pakistan’s tax system more productive, by the broadening of the tax base and the rationalization of tax rates. By taking on this opportunity, it would be an absolute pleasure to take you all along this journey with my team and myself, to achieve the professional competence we strive for, and to facilitate the tax payer’s enchantment of tax filers, and integration of point of sale across Pakistan.
