Delayed Issues and Leaders
Leaders cannot pause to put issues on the table to be conversed. He must make sure that staff understand that everyone’s opinion will be discussed. Leaders must be able to eliminate personal feeling from the mix and assess conflict as a team concern. Leaders must attend wisely and make sure that they offer advice well. Leaders need to make sure that all participants know how a decision will be made to resolve the conflict. They must follow through on their actions but also hold others to their actions as well. Leaders must be able to identify positive conflict management and then reward it.
