Leaders are categorized by their leadership styles. The first style is autocratic leadership; in this type of leadership the leader gives orders. The autocratic leader doesn’t consult its subordinates while planning or making decisions. It speeds up the decision making process but it can hurt the morale of the subordinates. A democratic leader makes decision after consultation, it is helpful in raising morale. A free rein leader is the one who gives maximum authority to its subordinates, which helps in creativity. A paternalistic leader is the one who treats its subordinates as its children, guiding towards success.
