Another method of alternative dispute resolution is mediation. Mediation is like a negotiation in which you have help of a third neutral party. That person’s job is to make both parties reach at a common ground by giving suggestions on conflict. Until both parties agree to the resolution, a result is not obtained through mediation. Mediators can provide suggestions, assists with communication and obtain relevant information. The main focus is to work towards finding a mutually beneficial solution. The decisions of mediators are not law binding, and the parties can walk out of the process.
